How does your network affect your LinkedIn post reach and engagement?

đź’ˇThis month let’s talk about how does your network affect you LinkedIn post reach and engagement. Do you know? You probably have heard that it does, but how exactly? And what to make of it?

As we have covered from prior newsletter articles, then the elementary step to take is to create a proper LinkedIn profile and to make sure it is set to be public. You might also promote your LinkedIn page outside of LinkedIn to guide more traffic to it — add a quick link to your business card (if you have one), share it in your email signature, let your new connections scan your QR code in networking events etc.

Based on Linkedin statistics, profiles with complete info get 30% more views per week. That’s a lot! This means, your profile needs to have the right keywords that would relate to your network. Same goes for your network. Connect with other relevant professionals in your field.

Take part in LinkedIn groups or host your own in order to widen your network with the right people. Be active on the network and join conversations — both in groups, shared articles and discussions that form under post comments.

These simple steps should move you nice and steady towards a better reach and engagement. But don’t get me wrong. All this takes time and constant effort — so start building your new habit today! âś¨
