How to make your company page content reach more people and get more engagement?
Have you noticed that posts that are made from personal LinkedIn accounts tend to have more engagement compared to the ones that are made from your company page? Whis is that?
Well, overall LinkedIn likes to rather boost content that is created from personal accounts. It's saying that business is still done from one human to another.
However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t make your company page content reach more people and get more engagement. How? You might ask.
Let me share just a few tips.
💡 Make sure you share relevant content. Have an understanding of what you want to share on LinkedIn — not all of your usual social media content should reach the LinkedIn page. Who is your audience on LinkedIn — what do they want to hear from you? LinkedIn content should be value adding. You are an expert in your field — educate your audience.
💡 Make employee-facing content. What does it mean? Post about your employees — the amazing things that they do or say. Showcase your team to show who you are and what values you represent. Would you like or comment on a picture that has someone you know on it? If we relate to the people in the posts, we will relate to the post as well. This is engagement!
💡 Encourage employees to engage with your company page. As mentioned before, then LinkedIn likes everything that private people do a lot more than what companies are doing as their regular marketing activities. Thus, kick-start an employer branding ambassador program. You might first want to gather anyone in your company already active on LinkedIn into one chat or email group. Whenever there is a post by your company (or from anyone from the ambassadors group) the post link can be easily shared with them for commenting, liking and reposting. LinkedIn has a so-called golden hour (funny, because it’s not really an hour anymore, rather two hours) when the algorithm learns if your post is good and engaging. If yes, it will help to boot it for a wider audience. If not, breaks go on.
These are just a few small steps to take in order to boost your company page content and reach more people with your employer branding messages.
Happy boosting!
